About Me<\/em><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to TAGESTOUR-DRESDEN.de!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TAGESTOUR-DRESDEN.de is run by Steffen \u2013 born in Berlin, now a proud Dresden local and an enthusiastic explorer of Saxony\u2019s beautiful regions. As a former motorcyclist, amateur musician and passionate traveller, I know many of the special places and hidden gems around Dresden from personal experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea of introducing people to the beauty of Dresden and its surrounding region through guided excursions and personalised tours first came to me during my university studies. After more than 26 years of professional experience as an industrial engineer, I was given the opportunity at the end of 2025 to fulfil this dream and turn my passion for tourism, hospitality and regional culture into my profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of 2025, I completed the necessary qualifications required by the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce to work as a transport manager for taxi, private-hire vehicle and bus services. I also registered my vehicle with the City of Dresden for commercial passenger transport and excursion services. It is a 2026 Peugeot Traveller with Business trim, a 180 hp diesel engine, automatic transmission and separate summer and winter tyres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With TAGESTOUR-DRESDEN.de, I offer comfortable and personal day trips for small groups of up to six guests. Together, we discover the most beautiful attractions in Dresden and the surrounding region \u2013 from Saxon Switzerland and the wine-growing area around Meissen to towns such as Bautzen, Sebnitz and Pirna, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and destinations further afield near the border with the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our tours start and finish at the centrally located Pirnaischer Platz in Dresden. Departure is usually at 9:00 a.m. During the day, we visit several carefully selected highlights along the chosen route and take a relaxing lunch break at a regional restaurant, where guests pay individually for their food and drinks. Following another stop in the afternoon, we return to Dresden at approximately 5:00 p.m., bringing an eventful day filled with new impressions and experiences to a close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
