TAGESTOUR-DRESDEN.de is run by Steffen – an adopted Dresden local, passionate explorer and personal tour guide.
Travelling in small groups of up to six guests, you will enjoy comfortable day trips to some of the most beautiful destinations around Dresden, from Saxon Switzerland, Meissen and Bautzen to extraordinary places near the Czech border.
Look forward to carefully selected highlights, authentic regional experiences and a relaxing day in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The tour is conducted in German or English.
Thanks to modern technology on board, information about the various sights can also be played over the vehicle’s speakers in your native language using your smartphone.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Point – Pirnaischer Platz
The central meeting point for all our day tours is the car park at Pirnaischer Platz in Dresden.
Pick-up is directly behind the tram stop at Pirnaischer Platz, close to a snack bar and public toilets. The meeting point is located at the junction of Wilsdruffer Straße and St. Petersburger Straße and provides an ideal starting point for our tours. After an eventful day, we return to the same location.
Thanks to its central location, almost all hotels in Dresden city centre are within easy walking distance. The meeting point is also easy and convenient to reach by tram or bus. Parking is available nearby for guests arriving in their own vehicle.
Meeting point/address:
Ringstraße 9–11
01067 Dresden
Germany

Tours usually depart from Pirnaischer Platz in Dresden at 9:00 a.m. After a varied day featuring several stops and a lunch break, we expect to return to Dresden at approximately 5:00 p.m.
The exact return time may vary slightly depending on the selected tour, traffic conditions and the itinerary on the day.
Our day tours are deliberately kept small, with a maximum of six guests. This creates a personal and relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of opportunity for individual questions and shared experiences.
Regular breaks are part of every tour. For all scheduled stops, we choose locations where restrooms are nearby so you have the opportunity to freshen up or take a short break in comfort.
Smokers also have the opportunity to take a smoking break, but please keep your distance from non-smokers.
The tours take place in a comfortable Peugeot Traveller with Business trim.
The vehicle accommodates up to six guests and provides a relaxing travel experience, even on longer day trips.
Yes. Provided that no other guest has already registered a dog for the same tour, you may bring up to two dogs.
To ensure that there is enough space for everyone, the dogs’ combined weight must not exceed 35 kg.
For trips to the Czech Republic, the applicable EU entry requirements must also be observed. In particular, each dog requires a valid EU pet passport and valid microchip identification.
Your four-legged friend will ride in the footwell area next to the
owner in the rear-most row of seats.
Safety harnesses, dog waste bags, water, and a water bowl are
provided in the vehicle.
Should the vehicle require special cleaning,
we will charge a flat fee of 50 EUR to cover the cost.

Your driver and personal tour guide is Steffen, the owner of TAGESTOUR-DRESDEN.de.
As an adopted Dresden local, passionate traveller and expert on the region, he personally accompanies you throughout the entire day.
Yes. Our day tours usually include a relaxing lunch break at a regional restaurant or traditional inn.
Unless otherwise stated, food and drinks are not included in the tour price and must be paid for individually at the venue.
Admission fees are not automatically included in the tour price unless this is explicitly stated for the selected tour.
Where an attraction charges an admission fee, the relevant information will be provided directly in the individual tour description.
The concept behind TAGESTOUR-DRESDEN.de combines comfortable travel by vehicle with independent exploration of the respective destinations on site.
At the individual stops, you will therefore need to walk short distances. Depending on the destination, the routes lead along cobblestone streets and market squares, gentle inclines, and, in some cases, stairs and steps.
Please note that many of the restaurants, pubs, and historic buildings visited are not accessible. In particular, access to restrooms is often only possible via stairs or steps.
Our tours are therefore suitable for guests who are able to walk well.
We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for the weather as well as sturdy footwear. Depending on the season, sun protection or rainwear may also be useful.
For trips across the border into the Czech Republic, you will also need a valid national identity card or passport.
Our tours can generally also take place in changeable weather.
If exceptional weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances make it impossible to operate the tour, you will be informed accordingly.
You can book each of the tours offered as an exclusive tour—just for you and your companions—or as a group tour.
To do so, select “Exclusive Tour” separately in the booking form when choosing the number of people. A maximum of 6 people and 2 dogs can then travel with you.
In addition, we offer customized VIP tours. Please feel free to learn more under Tours / VIP TOUR and
